Flowers on the Moon

April 30, 2008

Scientists of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences Natalya Kozirovska and Irina Zayec proved it possible to plant herbs on the Moon. During the experiment they managed to plant marigold on the soil, identical to the Moon regolite.

Scientists imitated the Moon soil scientists took grind mineral anorthosite. This magmetic rock is nothing like fertile soil. In this rock flowers couldn’t survive for a long time. But as soon as certain bacteria were added, the plants revived and started blooming.

Serbia’s old problem?!

April 30, 2008

Belgrade must choose this time, either it deepens or it stops the process with the Albanian people with a rising, powerful Russia nearby.

The failure of the two years of discussions regarding Kosovo`s independence leaves a choice between east and west.

Russia continues to support Serbia in future negotiations between the Albanians who militate symbolically for the state`s independence, Kosovo and the Belgrade authorities. The land is set for Kosovo`s unilateral declaration of independence of Serbia.

Under the skeptic eye of EU officials and the serious doubts of other members (Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Spain), she is ready to continue a mission of justice in Kosovo in order to monitor the first years of independence.

NATO`s speech person declares that they will not leave the territory soon.

Moscow wants to regain the key industries in Serbia. The agreement between the two states would include building an extension of the South Stream gas pipe, that would help Russia control the energy purveyance towards EU.

In Kremlin’s desperate attempt to stop NATO`s boundaries at Serbia`s gates, the organizations is already choosing future strategic partners around the territory, such as Albania, Croatia, Macedonia) witch will sufficiently increase its influence.

For Serbia, the European Unions`s guarantee remains the most powerful partner for their future, taking into account that the neighboring states are already members.

The people see the act of becoming an EU  member like a guarantee of prosperity and a better world, without conflicts and with respect for their liberty and their territory.

a new type of war

April 30, 2008

The classification of 2007 events which were not given the necessary attention by the media for various reasons of freedom of speech limitations, speaks about a new type of war with an alarming amplitude, the cyber war.

The country which created this type of war is Russia through information attacks against the government, the police and the Estonian banks.

Beijing, a financial power, takes control over information.

In June 2007, the Pentagon accused the Chinese army of hacking into the computers used by the Secretary of Defense Robert Gates` subalterns.

In order to counteract the new type of attacks the USA military aviation decided to establish The Cyberspace Commandment.

This will become completely operational in October 2009 and it will be assigned to protecting army and officials computers.

This commandment will have 500 fighters against virtual space enemies.

Russia has warned it will retaliate if Georgia uses force against its breakaway regions.

Moscow has accused Georgia of preparing to invade Abkhazia, and says it is boosting Russian forces there and in the South Ossetia region.

Georgia has reacted angrily to the Russian move, which its prime minister called “irresponsible”.

The EU also urged caution, saying to increase troop numbers would be unwise given current tensions.

Russia’s foreign minister said his country was not preparing for war but would “retaliate” against any attack.

Russia says Georgia is massing 1,500 soldiers and police in the upper Kodori Gorge, the only part of Abkhazia which remains under government control.
